The Atelier Membership at Dekkle Printmaking Studio
A year-long opportunity to grow your printmaking practice.

Led by Master Printer David Borrington MA RCA and supported by artist–educator Louisa Borrington, this intimate, high-level membership is designed for artists ready to sharpen their skills and deepen their craft.

Whether you're returning to your practice, preparing for postgraduate study, or wanting to develop a strong body of work with expert support this is your year.

What’s Included:

  • 12 Full Days of Personalized Teaching – Hands-on sessions tailored to your artistic needs.
  • 30 Hours of One-on-One Tutorials/Technician Support – Personalized mentorship and technical assistance.
  • Studio Access – Unlimited use of our fully equipped printmaking studio.
  • Digital Portfolio – A 3-year hosted portfolio to showcase your work.
  • Artwork Photography Demonstration – Learn to professionally photograph your pieces.
  • Year-Long Mentorship – Ongoing creative and technical guidance.

Inclusive Fine Art & Special Needs Support

As part of the Atelier Membership, we offer additional support for artists with dyslexia and other learning challenges. David Borrington, who has firsthand experience navigating dyslexia and dyspraxia, ensures that all artists receive tailored guidance, without barriers to learning. Our inclusive approach includes:

  • Extra Assistance at No Additional Cost – Personalized strategies and support to enhance your learning experience.
  • Specialized Learning Techniques – Integrating assistive technology and adaptive methods to suit individual needs.
  • Supportive Environment – A welcoming, understanding space where neurodiverse artists can thrive without worry.

We accept just 3 artists per year, ensuring every member receives genuine one-to-one support and studio time.

Program Fee: £7,500
Early Bird Offer: £6,500 (apply at least 3 months in advance)
Scholarship Place: 1 discounted spot available each year  apply with a short statement.

One-to-One Tuition – Tailored to Your Requirements

Our one-to-one tuition is fully personalized to meet your individual needs, with sessions designed around your specific goals and interests. Since every student requires a slightly different service, we don’t offer fixed prices. However, the majority of processes can be taught within a budget range of £200 to £500.
